the sonic creator mentorship

One-on-one creative mentorship for developing a body of work

This mentorship is for people who want to create their own body of work with sound. Rather than focusing on facilitation, this container is about composition, process, and developing a personal sonic language.

It is designed for anyone who wants to explore sound more deeply, whether that means creating an EP, developing a soundscape for meditation or ritual, or simply building a more sustainable creative practice.

I’ve been a musician and sound creator for over 20 years. Everything I share in this mentorship is rooted in lived experience, and in many cases reflects things I wish I had learned much earlier in my own creative path.

My approach blends research-based processes with creativity, intuition, and emotional listening. Rather than following formulas or trends, we work with attention, constraints, and curiosity to help your work take shape in a way that feels honest and grounded.

This mentorship is suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced artists. The curriculum is designed collaboratively around you, your interests, and what you want to create.

about this mentorship

How this mentorship works

The Frequency Creator Mentorship unfolds over two months and is structured in two phases: research and exploration, followed by making and integration.

Month 2: Making and integration

In the second phase, ideas begin to take form.

We meet for a second one-hour call to refine focus and prepare for the in-person studio day. We then spend approximately six hours together in my studio, working hands-on with sound, shaping material, and exploring workflow and structure.

After the studio day, we meet once more for a final integration call to reflect, refine direction, and support continuation beyond the mentorship.

Month 1: Research and exploration

We begin by slowing down and listening.

You receive access to the Ambient Music for Beginners course to establish a shared technical foundation. Alongside this, you work with a series of prompts designed to support research, listening, and exploration.

We meet for a one-hour call to focus your direction, intention, and scope. From there, I guide you through a prompt-based process that supports idea generation without pressure to produce.

What’s included

  • Access to the Ambient Music for Beginners course

  • Three one-on-one calls (two before, one after the studio day)

  • A full in-person studio day in Berlin

  • Prompt-based guidance throughout the mentorship

  • Email and text support during the two-month container

In-person Studio Day

This will be a focused, hands-on working session designed to deepen and shape the ideas developed during the research phase.

Before the studio day, we define a clear focus together during one of our calls.

The day may include:

• fleshing out existing demos or sketches

• shaping structure and flow

• working with analog synths, tape, and electronic tools

• exploring texture, space, and restraint

• learning practical techniques through co-creation

You’ll have access to my studio and instruments. The focus is always on serving your ideas, not chasing a specific sound or setup.

By the end of the day, you’ll leave with clearer direction and material you can continue developing.

Pace and availability
