the full immersion mentorship

One-on-one creative mentorship for developing a body of work

The Full Immersion Mentorship is for people who want to explore both sound facilitation and their own creative work, and who are curious about how these two practices inform and support each other.

This mentorship is deeply co-designed and co-created. There is no fixed curriculum or predetermined path. The structure, pacing, and focus are shaped collaboratively based on your intentions, interests, and the context in which you want to work with sound.

Rather than separating holding space for others from personal creation, this mentorship treats them as connected. Listening, pacing, decision-making, and presence move fluidly between facilitation and composition.

Over the years, I’ve noticed that many people don’t fit neatly into a single category. They may feel drawn to facilitating sound-based experiences while also wanting to develop their own music or sonic rituals. Often, these two impulses feed and inform each other.

The Full Immersion Mentorship exists for this overlap. It combines the Frequency Facilitator Mentorship and the Frequency Creator Mentorship into one integrated container, while allowing enough time and flexibility for the work to unfold in a way that feels intentional rather than rushed.

about this mentorship

How this mentorship works

The Full Immersion Mentorship typically unfolds over three months, depending on pacing, scheduling, and what you want to explore. It combines preparation, in-person immersion, and integration.

Phase 2: In-person immersion

This mentorship includes two in-person days in my Berlin studio.

One day focuses on sound facilitation, and one day focuses on creative work and composition. The order, emphasis, and structure of these days are decided collaboratively in advance.

Across the in-person sessions, we may explore:

• designing and holding sound-based experiences

• working with gongs, bowls, electronics, and silence

• developing and shaping creative material

• working with analog tools, tape, and texture

• pacing, intensity, and restraint

• translating intuition into form

You’ll have access to my instruments and studio tools, but the focus is always on supporting your process and intentions rather than following a fixed method.

Phase 1: Orientation and co-design

You begin with access to both:

• the Frequency Foundations course

• the Ambient Music for Beginners course

These self-paced materials create a shared foundation so our one-on-one time can focus on depth rather than basics.

We then meet for an extended introductory call. In this conversation, we explore:

• your intentions for the mentorship

• your relationship to sound, facilitation, and creation

•. the kinds of contexts you feel drawn to

•. what feels supportive and realistic for you right now

From this call, I design a personalized mentorship arc, which we refine together before moving into the in-person work.

What’s included

  • Access to both online courses

  • Multiple one-on-one calls across the mentorship

  • Two full in-person mentorship days in Berlin

  • A co-designed curriculum shaped around your intentions

  • Prompt-based guidance and process support

  • Email and text support during the mentorship

  • The Frequency Facilitator Handbook

  • Curated resource lists

  • Certification for the facilitation component

Phase 3: Integration and continuation

We meet for follow-up calls after each in-person day. These sessions support reflection, integration, and practical questions as the work continues to settle.

Throughout the mentorship, you also have email and text support, allowing the process to unfold between sessions.

By the end of the mentorship, you will:

• be able to design and hold your own sound bath or sonic ritual

• have clearer direction in your creative work

• understand how facilitation and creation inform each other

• leave with a process you can continue independently

Pace and availability

This mentorship is offered in a very limited number each year. I work with only a small number of people at a time so the process can remain attentive, responsive, and sustainable.

All mentorships are application-based.

Who this mentorship is for

This mentorship tends to work best for people who:

• feel drawn to both facilitation and creation

• value depth over speed

• are curious, reflective, and self-directed

• want a process that is responsive rather than prescriptive

You do not need to be a professional musician or facilitator to apply.
