hi, i'm kimi.

I'm a musician and sound artist in Berlin, with over 25 years of experience as a singer, producer, and performer. Listen to my musical output here.

Sound started as a form of expression for me. Over time it became something more, a way to help people regulate, connect, and create.

Today my work moves between deep listening, sonic meditation, and sound art, alongside breathwork. All of my work is deeply somatic and body-based. I'm curious about what sound and breath do in the body, and how listening changes the way we feel and create. I also love leading people back into using their voice. Vocal activation helps people access and release parts of themselves they didn't even know were hiding.

My approach stays practical. You don't need to be a musician or a spiritual practitioner to benefit from this work. It's for anyone who wants to feel more connected, more creative, and more alive.

I've worked with artists, musicians, lawyers, activists, and first-time breathers. The settings shift from studios to music venues to mental health spaces, but people come for the same thing, to feel more grounded, more alive, and more themselves.

my musical journey

Music was my entry point into a world away from the mundane. It's allowed me to travel the world, meet incredible people, and time and time again it has provided a place of understanding and deep flow.

I co-founded The Portal with my friend Yasemin Vollmond. We create experimental sound experiences in places like old churches and listening venues.
