The Portal • vol. 1

  • Hermanstrasse 102 Berlin, 12051 Germany (map)

This isn’t your average sound bath.

Set in the acoustically resonant Kiezkapelle, this two-hour experience invites you into a deep listening space shaped by seven gongs, monochords, Tibetan bowls, and ambient drone layers. The space itself amplifies the sound in a way that creates an enveloping, almost cinematic atmosphere. It’s a full-body reset.

We’ll begin with a short somatic drop-in and a bit of vocal activation to arrive, but most of the session is time to lie down, rest, and let the frequencies do their work. These particular tones are chosen not just for their meditative qualities but for their ability to support nervous system regulation and deep parasympathetic rest.

Created and guided by Yasemin Vollmond and Kimi Recor, both artists and sound practitioners with years of experience in working with frequency, the body, and altered states, this session blends the ceremonial with the experimental. It’s not about performance and it’s not about wellness as a product. It’s about sound as a portal.

What to bring:

We’ll have a few cushions and blankets on hand, but we invite you to bring whatever you need to get truly cozy, mats, pillows, eye masks, warm layers. Build your own little cocoon.

Contraindications:

Not recommended during early stage of pregnancy, or for individuals with epilepsy, cardiovascular conditions, severe mental health diagnoses (tendency to panic), or recent surgeries. If unsure, please consult with us beforehand hello@theportal.space.
